Melissa passionately loves the Lord and her heartbeat is to know Him and make Him known among all peoples. She has been privileged to serve in the missions community, overseas and in the US, since 2001.

Melissa officially began her career with Team Expansion serving as a Member Care Apprentice. She conducted team-building events in the US and overseas, debriefed short and long term workers, and led workshops for churches desiring to improve the Member Care of their workers.

After moving to Atlanta, Melissa served for 5+ years with Leadership Development International as a Partnership Development Coach where she invested herself in helping new staff reach their assignments fully funded.  Additionally, Melissa’s passion for healthy transitions also led her to spearhead re-entry resources for returning staff.

Melissa is devoted to assisting people make a healthy transition to the field as well as a healthy re-entry into their passport country. Having been professionally trained in debriefing, Melissa invests herself in debreifing both short and long-term workers upon their return. She is also certified in the Cerny Smith Assessment, a cross-cultural adjustment tool.

Melissa is also fervent about marriage, family and team relationships. After obtaining a degree in Biblical Literature and Marriage & Family Ministry, she went on to be certified as a Couple Communication instructor. She and her husband have taught the course to six different nationalities throughout the USA and China. She has worked with a wide range of couples, from seriously dating couples to those married 50+ years. She is also certified to administer the Prepare/Enrich as well as the Thrive Assessment. Melissa has led several teambuilding workshops using group initiatives.

As a certified Life Coach with the spiritual gifts of teaching and shepherding, Melissa fully invests herself in the coaching relationship. She is a grounded presence in the midst of much growth and transition. Her heartbeat is to live today in light of eternity, taking practical steps to love and obey Him.
